Hello Guys!!

I have good news. Russia is now open to travel for Indians. So businessmen, students and tourists can now travel to Russia. This is under an Air Bubble Agreement with India. Starting from 14th February, Aeroflot will start 2 flights per week to Russia. This is the best Valentines gift from Russia to India.

Aeroflot will operate its flights on Monday and Saturday in its 293 seater Airbus. That’s almost 600 seats available for travel weekly and 2400 in a month. Travelers must present a certificate of a negative Covid PCR Test result before boarding the international flight. The test must be not more than 72 hours before their time of arrival to Ru Russia. All foreign citizens traveling to Russia must fill up self-declaration form provided by flight attendants.

The twice-weekly flights will restart soon and Russian embassy has also started accepting all visa applications — which includes tourist visas — at its application centers in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. Please note that eVisa is not applicable anymore. So you will have to apply at the embassies for a sticker visa. Travelers can only enter vis Air Check points. All borders are currently closed and Tourists wont be allowed through border check points.
